1968 U.S. Army Flying Man’s Intermediate Type MA-1 Jacket Gerea in a size medium. One of my favorite intermediate flight jackets is the MA-1 because it is a reversible jacket and cut a little wider. This MA-1 belonged to a helicopter pilot named Gerea, features helicopter pilot wings, and a 1st Cavalry patch. The zipper works nicely and the snaps of the pocket function, but have a few scuff marks on them. The interior lining is in very good condition, with the exception of some small paint stains pictured, and a few nicks in the waistband. On the back near the neck, there is a small stain that looks like a glue stain. The jacket is very wearable and shows minor wear for its age.
